In this unique mural Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge have been stunningly silhouetted against a vibrant orange and purple sky. Here, the breathtakingly high buildings have here been thrown into sharp relief through this dramatic use of contrasting colour. This picture was one of the first images of New York turned into a wallpaper mural and has a very seventies feel to it. The beautiful Brooklyn Bridge dominates the foreground of the scene. The bridge itself was constructed to be six times stronger than required, a testament to its enduring beauty. On the first day of opening over 150,000 people crossed the bridge and it is now the main route of passage between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
