White silica sand beaches in the idyllic Maldives surrounded by clear warm crystal water. With its learning palm trees this mural captures the very essence of a relaxing tropical beach holiday. The Maldives Nation is in the Indian Ocean and comprises of nearly 1200 islands. It is in fact the tops of an underground mountain range located between Indian and Sri Lanka. With an average height of only 1.5m there are fears for Maldives beaches due to global warming.
