This high rise mural of down town San Francisco shows the city in all of its night glory. The skyscrapers are set against the natural seaport and the lines converge in to the distance. The Spanish based fort at the Golden Gate 1776 and in 1848 the Californian gold rush grow the city rapidly. Most of the city was destroyed in 1909 but a massive earthquake and was rebuilt along the lines you see today. The large influx of immigrants and the liberal attitudes have lead San Francisco becoming famous for the summer of love and gay right activism.
