This mural highlights the dominance of the Empire State Building on the skyline of Manhattan Island. The building towers above this great metropolis standing at the height of 1,250 feet and is the tallest building in New York City. Like the Chrysler Building the Empire State Building is based on an Art Deco design typical of pre world-war two design in New York.
