A view of the famous Manhattan skyline from the River, produced in subtle pastel colours to capture the great urban expanse of the modern day Big Apple. The mural features many of Manhattans iconic buildings such as the Empire State building on the right and the Chrysler Building on the left. The Chrysler Building is stunning example of art deco architecture located on the east side of Manhattan. It was the worlds tallest building for only 11 months before the Empire State Building out did it in stature. The building is a classic example of art deco architecture with its highly stylised top section and is still considered by many to be one of the finest buildings in the world. This mural captures the building in relation to the Manhattan skyline in all its urban beauty.
