This mural features the famous NYC cabs set in the heart of Manhattan Island, Times Square. The iconic yellow of the taxis is here accentuated against the monochrome backdrop of the southern end of Times Square. The square was renamed Times Square in 1904 when the New York Times offices moved into a building on the square. After this the area quickly became a hub of culture and commerce and it is now often known as The cross roads of the world.
